I dreamed of working in the NBA since I started college. I knew the best way to get there was by working for the UF Athletic Association. I interned for the PR dept in various sports to learn what it meant to work with national and local media outlets.

The Gators were experiencing some of their best years as an overall sports program during my time as a student. My duties included sharing analytics and stats with media outlets during my senior football and basketball seasons. I was also responsible for writing player features and archiving photos for team websites and media guides. I eventually worked for the NBA after my time with the Gators. Having a recognizable sports team on my resume paved the way.
